Catering Assistant

RSPB Café Hafren, situated on the barrage in Cardiff Bay, is a great place to visit year-round and worth a trip whatever the weather. Visitors enjoy the best of local ingredients, sourced and negotiated locally, supporting local traders playing to the sites strengths and sales mix.
You will work with the Catering Manager and the Assistant Catering Manager to run the Coffee Shop. This role is part time, working variable hours. You will be motivated and a customer-pleaser, being a forward-thinking team player, who leads by example, delighting every customer.

If possible you will hold an intermediate food hygiene certificate level 2, although training will be given. The roles include weekend and bank holiday working on a rota.

This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. You will be asked to declare unspent convictions and cautions at offer of employment stage.

Salary starting at

£15,269 - £15,696 per annum pro rata

Hours & contract information

Hours: Part time, Hourly paid
Contract: 18 months
