Schools Products Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member with experience of project management, a good knowledge of the UK education system and experience of working within it, wildlife and proactive social media experience to support our work connecting young people to nature. You must have good interpersonal and organisational skills and a creative approach to education, wildlife activities and environmental issues. You will be expected to demonstrate initiative and have excellent communication & IT skills. This role is responsible for many of our audience focused communications.

Main responsibilities will be:
• To lead, manage and further develop centrally administered existing offers for schools - including Big Schools Birdwatch and Wild Challenge.
• To develop and deliver any centrally administered new elements of the RSPB's national schools offer.
• To manage the production of RSPB schools materials and resources, both print and digital.
• To manage and develop the communications framework for schools/teachers - including Twitter, newsletters, e-mails, etc

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. You will be asked to declare both spent and unspent convictions and cautions at offer of employment stage.

Salary starting at

£22,073 - £25,752 per annum
