Service Desk Analyst - Apprentice

The RSPB have an opportunity for an Service Desk Analyst - Apprentice in the team in Sandy, Bedfordshire

Reporting to the Service Desk Manager and being supported by the rest of the team, your daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not necessarily limited to the following;

Manage and log all customer contact within the call management system to ensure the details are recorded
Provide effective technical support to all users of the RSPB IT equipment, minimising downtime and impact within Service level agreements
Manage the configuration databased to ensure items recorded are up to date
Administration of user accounts ensuring appropriate security permissions are applied
Create and update technical documentation to provide consistent customer service
Escalate incidents to appropriate senior members of the team
Log and manage problem records to capture and resolve repeated incidents
