Income Project Manager

Do you have great project and planning skills and want an opportunity to use them to help save nature?

This is an exciting opportunity to play a prominent role in supporting our income generating activities. Threats to nature are growing and you will be able to help the RSPB to work in innovative ways to drive fundraising for our conservation work. In this brand new role you will work closely with the Head of Income Operations and collaborate with colleagues across the UK to develop the new Income Portfolio.

You will deliver an organisation wide annual plan of income generating priorities mapped directly to our range of funding streams. The successful candidate will be logical, methodical and have a great eye for detail. The Income Project Manager will also work with the Project Development Executive in managing a single project pipeline ensuring it is up-to-date and visible.

You'll use your problem solving abilities to help us develop more dynamic ways of working and growing support. You'll use your project management skills and experience to support the business planning cycle and ensure we deliver an integrated income plan.

You'll be proactive and able to drive and manage positive change. You'll excel in engaging with colleagues at a variety of levels to understand priority conservation programmes and support the Income Portfolio in providing direction to our income teams. Ideally you will have a passion for wildlife, and through your role you will enjoy opportunities to learn more about our work for the natural world.

You'll be part of one team of staff, volunteers and supporters pulling together to help wild birds and wildlife.

1. Demonstrable leadership ability, able to lead without line management authority.
2. An ability to produce clear written communications.
3. An ability to persuade and influence a wide range of internal stakeholders.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions.
5. Logical & methodical, analytical and a good eye for detail.
6. Demonstrated ability to provide advice on project management policies and procedures.
7. Experience of working to a standard project management approach
8. Demonstrable experience of developing and working in partnerships to achieve shared outcomes.

Salary starting at

£25,463 to £29,707 per annum
