Finance Officer

This is an exciting time to join the RSPB. We have just completed a restructure to refocus our efforts to save nature and this new position was created to support financial management across RSPB NI.You will be managed by the Operations Director and on a day-day basis you will ensure spend and income are allocated properly and submit purchase orders, invoices and expenses for others. You will also support managers to track their budgets against forecast and set their budgets annually. You will be the first port of call if the team have a financial query.

You will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and utilise existing Excel spreadsheets to identify issues early and to undertake other financial administration for the NI team in order to ensure all income and expenditure is properly tracked and accounted for.


This is a part time position and we will be flexible regarding the successful candidates working pattern.

Salary starting at

£17,276 to £18,716 per annum pro rata - Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range

Hours & contract information

Hours: Part time, 18.75 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
