Office Manager Bangor

Are you driven to help and support others to succeed? Do you have excellent organisational and planning skills. RSPB Cymru is looking for a senior administrator to mange our office at Parc Menai, Bangor.

Working with the office administrator, you will support the Land team and the wider team based in the Bangor office from managing diaries through to supporting financial management

You will build and maintain effective relationships, both internally and externally, using diplomacy and tact, ensuring that confidential and sensitive matters are handled appropriately.

This role will provide comprehensive senior administrative support to the North Wales Office in Bangor Gwynedd, including the administration of financial processes, travel and accommodation, events, organising and maintaining materials and equipment, diary bookings, meeting room bookings and fleet car administration so that staff and volunteers operate efficiently.

The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain effective relationships, both internally and externally, using diplomacy and tact, ensuring that confidential and sensitive matters are handled appropriately, so that all contact is professional and RSPB is represented in a positive manner.

They will be required to provides comprehensive support to recruiting managers and enable new staff to be correctly and safely welcomed into the organisation.

They will be expected to provide some technical operational knowledge of the RSPB, and assist in the management of business information and data held in RSPB systems so that this information is available internally and externally, in accordance with the RSPB's information management policies.

They will contribute to the wider office support by managing telephone enquiries and face to face enquiries from staff, volunteers, visitors and the public to provide a welcoming reception to RSPB office.

They will share best practice and contribute to the continuous professional development of the wider RSPB administrative team, both locally and more widely across the organisation, proactively sharing best practice and building positive relationships, so that RSPB has a highly effective administrative team.

Salary starting at

£17,276 to £18,716 per annum - Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range
