Learning and Visitor Assistant

Working at one of Teesside's prime nature reserves, you will help inspire the next generation of conservationist, and enthusiast them about them natural wonders that surrounds them.

From peering into the murky depths of the pond to exploring the seasonal changes around the reserve, you have the opportunity to make a real difference, enriching the lives of youngsters and inspiring them to learn and care more about the natural world.

The role also includes maintaining teaching equipment, resources, and materials, encouraging and supporting volunteers, and delivering non curriculum linked visitor engagement activities to families one weekend a month and during school holidays.

Salary starting at

£16,504 to £17,880 per annum pro rata - Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range

Hours & contract information

Hours: Part time, 18.75 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term for 6 months, March to September 2020
