Project Officer, Wildlife Abernethy Project

Location: Abernethy Reserve, Forest Lodge

We're seeking someone with good administrative and organisational skills, who isn't afraid of an Excel spreadsheet, is thorough and has an eye for detail.

The Wildlife Watch Abernethy project is funded by the European Structural Funds under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) programme and will bring much-needed infrastructure and interpretation improvements to the Loch Garten Osprey Centre near Nethy Bridge (which will be renamed Loch Garten Nature Centre to reflect the improvements).

This role will take the lead in the monitoring and evaluation of the project as well as ensuring that the project adheres to all funder regulations and guidance including those relating to project finances, audit and compliance. The role also has responsibility for preparing funder reports and claims.

This role is subject to funding.

Salary starting at

£19,602 to £21,236 per annum - Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range

Hours & contract information

Hours: Full time
Contract: Fixed Term for 12 months
