Visitor Experience Assistant

Would you like to work at the Uk's largest inland seabird colony and one of the RSPB's most suceessful reserves for visitor engagement? Over 100,000 visitors come to our stunning Bempton Cliffs nature reserve every year and we're looking for someone with people skills, events experience and a flair for promotoional activities to join our 2020 team.

As part of a dedicated team, you will need bags of enthusiasm and initiative to plan and deliver the reserve's busy events and activities programme, particularly guided wildlife walks and the RSPB's Wild Challenge initiative; providing visitors young and old with a memorable and inspiring visit to the reserve. You'll also be responsible for promoting these activities via Facebook and Twitter, creating engaging posts to reach a wider audience. And we have a large team of volunteers who will look to you for support, particularly on days when the Visitor Experience Manager is off site. We are looking for someone with proven events and promotional experience who is enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated. The post holder must be willing to work most weekends and Bank Holidays (the work pattern will be Sunday to Thursday).

Salary starting at

£16,010 to £16,252 per annum - Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range
