RSDP Project Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer to support an ambitious programme of work we are doing to develop the commercial operations on RSPB reserves.

This is a key role in helping deliver our Reserves Strategic Development Programme, which is aimed at increasing the income generated from our visitor operations by improving profitability and investing in our visitor experience.

Supporting our Programme Manager, you'll be exceptionally well organised, a natural leader who is able to work flexibly and independently, and capable of overseeing governance of projects, ensuring each remains focused and on track.
You'll be a confident communicator who is comfortable liaising with colleagues throughout the organisation as well as external stakeholders and experienced in producing both written and verbal reports with clarity and precision.

We're looking for someone who is used to working under pressure and to deadlines, as well as dealing with a large and varied workload, which needs prioritising.

You'll support the Programme Manager to manage budgets, review risks, organise meetings and several other activities which are vital to the delivery of the programme.

Salary starting at

£19,602 to £21,236 per annum - Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range

Hours: Full time
Contract: Fixed Term for 2 years
