Graduate Rural Surveyor

RSPB is seeking a graduate rural surveyor to join their rural surveyor team in England. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a team of 19 Rural Surveyors and 2 Building surveyors who between them are responsible for providing both strategic and day to day professional advice on c151,000ha and several million pounds of built estate including commercial property.

You will be based at one of our offices in England with an opportunity to work with regional colleagues across England on specific projects to gain varied experience in a wide range of rural surveying competencies.You will be assigned a Counsellor and Supervisor from the rural team and supported through the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

The successful candidate will assist with both the management of the existing extensive rural estate along with supporting the delivery of major projects, acquisitions and disposals.

About you

You will be a graduate with an RICS accredited degree. You will be enthusiastic, a good communicator with initiative and attention to detail and ability to work in a team and independently. You will have good practical knowledge of rural issues including agriculture, land and property law, environmental and property management as well as an interest in conservation.

Salary starting at

£22,073 to £23,912 per annum

Contract: Fixed Term for 2 years, 6 months
