Lead Market Researcher

Are you passionate about insights and putting audience at the heart of everything you do? The RSPB is looking for a Lead Market Researcher (maternity cover) to join its Strategy, Knowledge and Innovation Team. We are looking for someone with a background in client-side insight management as you will be required to hit the ground running in this exciting fast-paced role.

You will lead our key strategic market research projects and ensure critical insights are used to deliver impact and drive business decisions at the RSPB. As a skilled communicator, you'll champion insights across the organisation and be an ambitious advocate for change and continual improvement . You'll lead our Horizon scanning work to ensure we are future focused in everything we do and provide expert advice on the application of best practice research techniques to your colleagues across the RSPB. You will work as a team alongside our Senior Market Researcher but will not have any direct reports to manage.

Responsibilities include:
o Translation of stakeholder requests into effective research briefs
o Selection of the most appropriate partner agencies to meet research briefs
o Effective day to day management and delivery of qualitative and quantitative research projects to time and budget
o Management of research agency relationships to deliver high quality projects, including ensuring that research materials (e.g. questionnaires, discussion guides) and deliverables (e.g. presentations, data tables) are of a high quality and meet project and business objectives
o Effective management of internal stakeholders

Salary starting at

£29,507 to £31,966 per annum.

Hours: Full time
Contract: 12 month Maternity Cover
