We welcome over 70,000 visitors and up to 2,500 school children each year, have a busy shop and cafe, run a programme of exciting events, and carry out important conservation work in our wetlands and woodland.

We have a vacancy for a part time Visitor Experience Assistant at RSPB Scotland Loch Leven nature reserve, one of Scotland's busiest and most dynamic tourist attractions, to work with colleagues on site and to support and deliver our Business & Visitor Experience Plan vision and actions.

We are looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm to work with our Visitor Experience Officer's and people engagement volunteers to ensure that the reserve offers our visitors exceptional, inspiring and safe experiences, provide a warm welcome and engage with visitors.

You will assist with income generation within visitor experience, and play a key role in the delivery of the reserve membership recruitment target. You will assist in the development, implementation and promotion of the reserve's event programme, and posting on our social media profile.

Post holder will be required to work frequent weekends, bank holidays and occasional evenings.
It would be beneficial for the post holder to hold a driving licence and have access to a car as there is no easy access to the reserve by public transport.

Salary starting at

£16,010 to £16,252 per annum

Hours & contract information

Hours: Part time, 18.75 per week
Contract: Permanent
