Retail Manager

Reference number: A4930220

Location: Kent

We are looking for an exceptional Retail Manager to lead our staff and volunteer team at RSPB Dungeness nature reserve. The RSPB is the UK's largest nature conservation charity and unlike other retail stores, 90% of our profit is spent on nature conservation, public education and advocacy.

We are looking for a Retail Manager who will take our already performing store to the next level, maximising profits and enhancing our commercial success. You will have new ideas and the commitment to see them through to delivery.

We are looking for someone who knows retail inside out. Selling, stock management, staff rotas, visual merchandising, planning, figures and budgets. You will be able to utilise retail software to analyse appropriate KPIs. Sales driven, with outstanding customer service skills, you'll lead by example. You are already an exceptional team leader, able to galvanise the team to produce great results, able to train and coach others and get the best out of everyone around you.

You will be a dynamic individual who likes a challenge. We are looking for someone with creativity to work closely with our Visitor Experience Officer to ensure all of our visitors to RSPB Dungeness have a fantastic experience.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week). You'll be required to work regular weekends and bank holidays.

The RSPB is committed to developing its staff and offers training and development opportunities including formal training, development days and sabbaticals.

Salary starting at

£19,602 to £21,236 per annum
