Outdoor Learning Officer

This is our vision and where better to do this than on the beautiful islands of Orkney, home to internationally important populations of wildlife. We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Outdoor Learning Officer to develop and deliver a programme of classroom-based lessons and outdoor learning activities to connect children and young people to nature. Working across the Orkney islands and our reserves, you will have the flexibility to work in different settings and the confidence to develop resources and deliver lessons on a range of habitats and wildlife, inspiring young people to take an active interest in the natural world.
This role will involve occasional early morning, weekend and evening working. A PVG Scheme membership is required.

Salary starting at

£19,602 to £21,236 per annum

Hours: Part time, 18.75 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
