Commercial Operations Development Manager

Do you have the passion, skills and project/ programme management experience to lead a team that deliver a complex portfolio of visitor projects across the UK, that will help us achieve our vision to save nature?

This is an exciting time to join the RSPB's Visitor Operations Consultancy. We are leading a step change in how we run visitor operations on our nature reserves.

We are looking for a Commercial Operations Development Manager to lead a successful team, delivering transformational change projects, that support our ambitious plan for commercial development and investment, across the RSPBs extensive reserve network.

About you

•Demonstrable evidence of project/ programme management principles and processes to achieve high quality delivery

•Confident, inspiring and assertive leadership skills, with an ability to develop capabilities of the team to drive high performance.

•You thrive in taking on challenges with a positive, solutions focused approach

• An exceptional communicator, you are able to interpret information at all levels to achieve a shared understanding, as well as experience of influencing senior managers across complex organisations.

-Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills are second nature to you, and you are well versed in working with multi-disciplinary teams internally, across external partners and with the public to drive expansion and innovation.

•You have demonstrable evidence and detailed understanding of the elements that drive excellence in visitor operations, to ensure we are best in class across our reserve network, when it comes to our visitor experience

•With excellent commercial acumen, you will be accustomed to interpreting business information to assess opportunities and prioritise effectively, to help multi-site teams achieve goals and objectives.

Salary starting at

£34,643 to £37,530 per annum

Hours & contract information

Hours: Full time
Contract: 12 month Maternity Cover contract
