Visitor Experience Officer

RSPB Scotland is looking for someone with excellent communication skills who has a real passion for nature to engage with visitors to our sea eagle viewing hide overlooking the narrows at Kylerhea. The successful candidate should have a friendly and engaging manner, a good general knowledge of wildlife, be confident working alone in an outdoor setting as well as working as part of a team and have the self-motivation and enthusiasm to inspire visitors about the spectacular wildlife found in this beautiful location. A full driving licence and means of travel are essential, along with good organisational and IT skills.

The RSPB is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to the appropriate safeguarding checks upon appointment.

Salary starting at

£17,276 to £18,716 Per Annum

Hours: Full time
Contract: Fixed Term contract for 23 weeks
