Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Tayside Administrator

Reference number: A5160220

Location: Glasgow

Do you want to play a part in making Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Tayside richer in wildlife? Stretching from the Atlantic Woodlands in Argyll to the moorland of the Angus Glens the area encompasses a range of fantastic habitats. Home to a host of iconic species such as black grouse, red squirrels, beavers and the largest population of bearded tits in the UK. Spanning five local authorities and including the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park the area is popular with walkers, holiday makers and nature lovers alike. This provides us with an amazing opportunity to inspire them with wildlife and influence them to act to conserve it.

We're looking for an administrator to join our newly established Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Tayside team, that delivers the RSPB's work across this area - including on our five nature reserves. Based in Glasgow but with travel throughout the area, you will provide general administrative support, ensuring that our systems are effective, records up to date and the team have the help they require with running meetings and planning and delivering events.

In addition, you will work with the administrative team across the area to ensure that all office and reserve support requirements are carried out to a high standard and to provide a helpful, friendly and enthusiastic front-office team - in many instances providing the first point of contact with the RSPB for members of the public.

We are looking for someone who pays attention to detail but is also able to take a flexible and pragmatic approach. You'll be solutions-focused and astute at juggling a variety of tasks. You'll be great at building effective relationships with a wide range of people, while ensuring that confidential and sensitive matters are handled appropriately. You will be provided with opportunities to develop new skills and build on existing areas of expertise.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly office as well as getting out and supporting teams on nature reserves - if this sounds like the job for you, we would love to hear from you.
