Website Product Owner

Reporting into the Head of Products. This role is responsible for setting the strategic direction, key performance indicators and roadmap for our externally focused website www.rspb.org.uk.

Our website is a critical communication tool to the RSPB, welcoming more than 12 million unique users every year. It is used to help engage our supporters in specfic priority causes currently facing the conservation world and helps drive those supporters to take action for nature.

As a Product Owner within the RSPB you will be responsible for helping develop an ambitious, focused and measurable product strategy, you will be responsible for the vision of your product and responsible for defining and prioritising a backlog of requirements that deliver valuable, iterative change to your product portfolio.

You will matrix-manage and lead a team of cross-functional colleagues, across multiple locations to ensure this backlog is delivered using various methods, including our Project Management Framework, Prince2, waterfall and the key principles of agile and scrum methodologies. Ensuring that you are supporting the priority objectives of the organisation, departments and programmes your products represent.

Salary starting at

£34,643 to £42,622 per annum
