Bittern feeding in reedbeds

Coach outing to Lee Valley, Fishers Green.

The Lee Valley supports a wide range of wildlife and is easily accessible, making it the perfect place to get up close to some amazing wildlife spectacles.
Over 200 bird species have been recorded in the Valley, of which 150 can be seen every year, including the rare and elusive bittern. There are also 35 species of mammal, from the secretive otter to the charismatic water vole.
You will have the option to go round the site on your own or with someone from the group.
As always, stout shoes are recommended.
We will also stop on route.
Please bring your own packed lunch.
We will be leaving this site at 4pm.
