Adult and children with book and binoculars birdwatching

This year started well with our trip to Norfolk (see Trip Reports) but then deteiorated quickly with the failure of one of our speakers to deliver his talk in January on Nightjars which we had all been looking forward to. Then the sad news of the sudden death on February 7th of one of our members, Colin Tudge. Matters have now improved with the excellent talk given by Peter Holden at our February Indoor Meeting and we have a packed programme of talks, walks, day trips to reserves and overnight trips to the the Isle of Man in April and Lundy Island in September to look forward to.
The RSPB will be doing its annual Peregrine Watch at St Andrew's Spire in Worcester during the breeding season and there are also a number of other events throughour the Spring and Summer such as Countrytastic at the Three Counties Showground, and Love Nature Week when collections will be made in Worcester and Malvern. All of these events require our help so if you have an hour of two to spare please volunteer for one of these events - get in touch via our email in this website.
