GOT A FEW HOURS TO SPARE?

RSPB are holding a couple of events in the area next month and require some help. The first is with the Date with Nature project being held at Crowngate in Worcester every Thursday to Sunday starting today until April 1st. The contact is Caroline on 07725064914. Even if you can't help, if you are in town, they would love you to pop by and say hello.

RSPB will also be at the Three Counties Show 'Countrytastic' on Thursday April 12 and they need lots of help with the activities they are putting on. Please contact Kirsty Paul on 01295 253330 or email kirsty.paul@rspb.org.uk

Local members who attend the Indoor Meetings are asked to consider giving 15 minutes of their time once a year to serve tea and coffee during the intervals. Carole Newton who is the coordinator has a rota and would love to hear from you on 01684 565626.

If you are willing to help with any of the above and would prefer a local contact, you can ring Frances Evans on 10905 359132 who will pass on your details.

UPTON WARREN

Those of you who have not been to Upton Warren recently will be pleased to know that the new hide is now finished and in use. Most of our members will know that as a result of Brian Cockayne's initiative a substantial sum of money was raised which went toward this hide. In recognition of this, a plaque will be placed in the hide acknowledging the contribution of Brian, our members and others who supported Target 1000. Go and visit the hide, and enjoy!
