Zoom is clearly the way to keep in contact with friends and organisations at the present time and I was particularly impressed with the digital version of the RSPB's AGM. It was professional and stimulating. If you didn't catch it I think it might still be available as it was recorded for those members who couldn't see it on the day.

Speaking of Zoom, our Group has not been backward at going forward, if you get my meaning, since the last two indoor meetings have been digital. I am full of admiration for the techies in our group who have made this possible. The format has been much the same as usual, but shorter and without the coffee break. It's been good to catch up with friends and hear what has been going on behind the scenes. Group members are commencing the winter feeding regime for corn buntings and work parties are being organised for Wildgoose Care Farm reserve. Volunteering for either of these opportunities can be done via our Group Leader Nick Skelton.

An email will be sent to members with information about the next Zoom indoor meeting in November which we hope many of you will join. Meanwhile, keep safe.
