Get ready for a camping experience like no other – Big Wild Sleepout is back for 2015!

This year we'll be getting close to nature at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum in Cultra on 24 and 25 July and then heading west for even more fun at the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh on 8 August.

These unique events have proven to be a huge hit with families. Last year almost 600 people pitched their tents and enjoyed fun-filled activities like bat detecting and bushcrafts, as well as toasting marshmallows on the campfire and spooky storytelling - even a few downpours couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm!

Big Wild Sleepout is the perfect opportunity for kids to connect with nature during the summer holidays and is suitable for experienced and amateur campers alike. With expert assistance available from Cotswold Outdoor, there’s no need to worry if pitching a tent isn’t your forte!

Tickets for these events start at £18 for adults and £13 for children, with a 10 per cent discount for RSPB members.

Tickets are available online by visiting or or by calling the RSPB NI office on 028 9049 1547.

Last year, the event sold out weeks in advance so be quick and book your spot by the campfire today! Once you’ve got your ticket, get set for your camping trip with a 15 per cent discount at Cotswold Outdoor, Boucher Road and Castle Lane, Belfast.

All proceeds from Big Wild Campout will help to give nature a home here in Northern Ireland.
