I have been having this great tit visiting my garden for the last couple of days and he seems to be going bald on his head and neck, any ideas on what may cause this or what it might be ?

  • Hi Tammy a lot of adult birds are looking a bit scruffy at this time of the year due to being busy of raising young, they can also get feather mites that can cause feather loss (which looks like the case in yours).

They should grow back after the moult.
