The next issue of Birds will start mailing on 6 October, but if you can’t wait that long, here’s a little taster
of some of the content that Joel, the Birds designer, has put together. We don't want to give too much away though!
Joel has worked in design all around the world, including many years in the USA (New York State), Canada (where he was born) and India.
He’s been designing Birds for 12 years now, bringing you the fabulous pictures and layouts that are in the magazine every issue.
As you can see from the montage above, if you like cranes and cuckoos, you're in for a treat, but there's loads more to look forward to!
Please do leave a comment about anything to do with the magazine in you're a Birds reader.
I love getting all the e-mails and letters that you send to the magazine, so let us know what you think and what you've been up to.
Welcome to the brand new Birds magazine blog.
My name’s Mark and I’m the Editor (that's me, above, posing for the camera at RSPB headquarters at The Lodge).
In this blog, I’ll be keeping you up to date with what’s happening with the RSPB’s quarterly magazine, including:
It’s also a chance to let us know what you like about Birds, so do post a comment about what you’ve read, or which photos caught your eye
- and what inspired you to get out and see it for yourself!
If you’re not an RSPB member and would like to receive Birds, then why not join the RSPB, support our conservation work and get the magazine?
Watch this space...
