  • I've been attempting to post some images taken today and after posting just two Im informed that duplicates are not allowed, even though my subsequent images had a totally different title and subject. Any one know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
  • Welcome to the site I have always had the same problem but just work with it ..... Like the Greebe

  • Hi David,

Apologies for the problems you are having - I usually get the same message, but that is when I've given a blog the same title as a previous one without realising. I'm definitely no IT expert, but I can try and find out what the problem is.

Lovely images in your latest set - I particularly like the GCG.

    Thanks,

    Jenny

  • Thanks Jenny,

I've tried changing names and relaunching the site to no avail. Now trying again on a different day and I still can't post any images. A bit disappointing as I usually have a few after each visit.

    Many thanks

    David

  • Hi David,

Apologies again! I have contacted someone who may be able to help!

    Thanks,

    Jenny

  • Thanks, followed all the instructions in the link but still can only post images in a forum thread. I'm on Safari so does that make a difference? Seems very erratic as I have been able to post two photos in one day but none after that!

    Thanks

    David

  • Cracked it! By converting the image to .png format every upload appears to be successful. It's strange though that the first images I posted were all .jpg and caused no problems but suddenly that changed. I use Lightroom 5.4 to process and this doesn't appear to offer the option of exporting in .png format so I have  to export in .jpg and then convert to .png using Snapheal - Eureka!

  • Hi David,

Glad you have sorted the problem! Keep the pictures coming.

    Thanks,

    Jenny
