HAPPY EASTER to you too JUNE
Thanks, Patily, I hope ALL our contributors, watchers and readers have a lovely Easter Day. It looks like it is off to a good start as EJ enjoys the morning sun. Some of her feathers show quite white in the light.
Nice pictures June. Ian
Again I find EJ in the same position and again the cam has cut off most of her head. No need to take another picture which would pretty much be a duplicate of the last one.
FROM FACEBOOK 2 years ago. This just now showed up on my page as a "Memory" I thought that while EJ waits for a mate today, that y'all might enjoy this memory, too.
ah so it was snow that I saw coming down earlier in the nite lite. And I see that it is still snowing. Some has settled on EJ's shoulder.
It was also snowing earlier at Manton Bay, but doesn.t seem to have stuck here. Just some fog.

First time I have seen EJ since early morning snow. She flew away as I watched, but was soon back carrying a large twig./ or small branch.
JUNE - Just been watching for 20 minutes before you posted and she has been on/off chasing another osprey. A female with a blue ring. The battles to keep the nest begin. She was carrying a half eaten fish flying around with it.
JUNE - There is a recording of the intrusion and chase on DU. Trying to ID the bird which appears to be Blue 08.
Thanks Keith, During the time EJ was off the nest I did see a bird in the upper right corner, far enough away that it appeared only big enough to barely ID as a bird, apparently an osprey.
I am glad other osprey have returned to LG> However, I do wish it were a single MALE osprey only. As Jag used to say "Let the drama begin!" I just hope the final results are good.
