Still here

  • I just wanted to let you all know that I am still here and that I am ok :)

The reason that I have not Posted any of my Photos for a couple of weeks is that I am using a new Programme to sort my Photos out and it is making the JPG files to big to upload in here. I will get it sorted and then I will post my Photos.

  • Hi Nick what programme are you using maybe someone can tell you how to resize them, there is a 4mb size limit.

  • Hi Alan I'm using Lightroom 6. I have been trying to resize the file but it keeps telling me they are to big.

  • Look here Nick how to do it in lightroom photographylife.com/how-to-properly-resize-images-in-lightroom

If you have windows photo gallery you can resize them with that.

  • You can also upload the full size images to Flickr and link to them on here instead (which is what I typically do).  Saves processing them twice then :-)

  • Hi Alan, I Have been doing what it shows on that website.

  • I really hate Computers I have just used the same images that I have been trying to upload to here and they are working without resizing them.

Thanks for your help any way

  • Do you have windows photo gallery Nick?

The method Joe has mentioned about putting them on flickr first is easy.

  • Hi Nick what camera do you use, I use canon and I always use canons DPP software, it is excellent for just tuning etc, to resize select convert and save and select the image size to save to. Hope this helps

  • no I don't, I just looked.

  • Joe, I have solved the poor image quality issue, I have bought a canon 1Ds MKII full frame, much much better than the 7D.

  • see my flikr here.
