It still showing the same loop today too, Wendy.
EWT getting bad comments of FB page I see, followers are very miffed!
I should think they would be after all that was promised.
Disappointing, but they may be very short staffed and/or not have enough volunteers and have many other things to deal with than just this Barn Owl box.
I think it's more to do with the technical side of the newly installed cam. There is a Warden on site at the farm so maybe he has to find time to re-boot the whole system.
Yes, Sandra, very likely. I'm off now--being kicked out of the hotel lounge where we've been trying to catch up on post and the Forum (visited Leighton Moss today with other Forumites--great, even though it was hot!)
Enjoy the rest of your break. Say hello to Mrs G, Aran and the 3 chicks when you visit Glaslyn :D
Thanks, Sandra, will do; we are looking forward to Glaslyn, Dyfi and other reserves in northwest Wales!
Bit more footage available today ...
But came to abrupt halt followed by 'sorry' notification!!
Message from Warden yesterday on twitter ...
Hi @Wendy_bartter the barn owl chicks are both fine. Both the parent birds were seen hunting over the field next to the barn last night, bringing in voles regularly, followed by lots of hissing. Hopefully our IT support will have the camera back up and running soon.***
& this little snippet from freezing cam ...
Thanks Wendy, the owlets are growing very well. Soon to be ringed I'd imagine.
Must be sometime this week ... there was a remark about it on twitter but I lost track of it!
Perhaps the tech guys will turn up then.
They are expecting them any time but at least at ringing we should see some pics of the two owlets!
