He looks like he's consumed a tennis ball! He was so chubby and looked very comical.

    If anyone saw Snow Watch on BBC2 last night they explained that during cold weather birds, especially smaller ones such as robins and tits, raise their feathers to create pockets of warm air to keep warm and to enhance insulation, that is why they look like they seem rounder and more puffed-up than usual.
