Coronavirus Update Regarding RSPB Liverpool Indoor and Outdoor Meetings

Due to the latest advice regarding the coronavirus pandemic, RSPB Liverpool have cancelled all indoor and outdoor meetings from 18th of March 2020 until at least the 31st of August 2020.
We are extremely disappointed to have to do this, but we feel that it is in the best interests of all involved with our group, and the wider population.
Please keep an eye on our website and Twitter as we are hoping to post some interesting content for people who may be self-isolating or otherwise unable to get out and about.

On a more positive note, the RSPB have issued a statement to the effect that, although they have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily close all reserve visitor centres, cafes and shops, the reserves themselves are currently still open, and parking charges have been waived. As they note: "These are difficult and unsettling times for all of us but we hope that nature can provide a welcome respite in whichever form and where ever you may encounter it. Over the coming days and weeks, we will be helping people to share their wildlife encounters and provide ideas for things you can do for wildlife close to home." We echo those sentiments, and add: take care of yourselves and keep in touch.
