Events

We hold monthly indoor meetings between September and April and also run a series of FREE local guided walks - usually on the weekend following our meetings. These walks usually last between two and three hours at a very leisurely 'birdwatching pace'. You do not need to be a member of the RSPB to join us on our events, and birdwatching experience is not necessary. In 2016 the 2013 State of Nature report was updated. It is not all doom and gloom but there is real reason to pause and stake stock. The overall consensus is that the UK's plants and wildlife are declining.
The talk provides an overview of the main findings and explores some of the main strategies to try and halt what hopefully won't become the inevitable.
