On Saturday 21 June, I did a trip to Thursley Common NNR in Surrey with RSPB Central London local group. The weather was nice, warm and sunny. I really had a wonderful day open with the group.

Thursley Common NNR is a place to look for rare, scarce and localised Dragonflies. On that day, we saw 2 species that are scarce and local (Downy Emerald and Keeled Skimmer). Beside birds and dragonflies, we also saw a Common Lizard.

Here are some of the bird species that we saw: - Buzzard, Hobby, Cuckoo, Woodlark, Tree Pipit, Redstart, Stonechat and a Spotted Flycatcher.
