At the recent AGM (and the corresponding afternoon meeting) the committee raised the issue of our use of disposable plastic cups to serve teas and coffees at meetings. We had 12 entries for the 2018 event, doing different things, recording variable numbers of species and raising various sums through sponsorship. Thanks to everyone who participated and taking their time to monitor Croydon's birds and to raise money for the RSPB. Thanks also to Alan Pearson who did his birdwatch in Australia, but still made a donation to the cause! More...
