RSPB Croydon Local Group Early April Update

A copy of our latest update is attached. As well as starting talks again, there is a bit about Spring migration, problems for skylarks and some preliminary findings from our 'Hopefully Coming out of Lockdowns' Birdwatch.
There has been a lot written recently about ground nesting birds such as skylarks and how our increased use of open spaces during lockdowns may cause problems in the breeding season. If you are out and about in open spaces please keep yourself (and your dogs) on the footpaths to avoid disturbing the birds or trampling their nests or young.
