Birdwatching Walk- Attenborough Nature Reserve, Notts.

Location: Meet at 9.30 am in the car park at Barton Lane next to the Visitor Centre - where there are toilets and café.

This complex of flooded gravel pits and islands covers 145 hectares and provides an ideal habitat for a wide range of plants, birds and other wildlife. The nature reserve is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and is managed by Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.

We hope to see a variety of wetland birds, both on the pits and on the River Trent - with a possibility of Bittern.

Walk should finish at about 12.30 pm.

Time: 9.30 am

Price: Free to everyone.
