DAVID LINDO TALK - 'THE URBAN BIRDER' 9TH OCTOBER 2013

David Lindo (The One Show, Springwatch, Countrywise, RSPB's 'Birds', BBC's 'Wildlife' and Birdwatch magazines) will be speaking on Wednesday 9th October 2013 in the D'Arcy Thompson Lecture Theatre, Dundee University at 7.30pm. Tickets are available £5 from Graham Smith 01382 532461 or payable at the door. This is a joint meeting of the local branches of the RSPB, SOC, SWT, ADBC and the Dundee Naturalists'.
David has spent his whole life being passionate about birds - something that came naturally to him as a small child growing up in London. He said 'I have decided to dedicate my life to extolling the virtues of urban birding to all and sundry. I have never ceased to be amazed by the variety of birdlife to be found in our urban centres and it's my mission to tell you about it. When not traversing the world studying urban wildlife I can be found looking for birds in west London at my beloved local patch - Wormwood Scrubs'.
