Location: Meet at Old Man's Mouth Car park SE 370631. From the A170 in East Ayton turn north on the Hackness road. Car park is 3 miles on the left. Look out for our sign!


Packed lunch required.
Riverside and woodland walk. Move to Hackness in the afternoon for birds of prey.

East Yorkshire RSPB Local Group Field Trip to Staveley YWT Reserve

Location:
Meet in the reserve car park SE 369630. It's easy to get to. Take the A59 from York towards Harrogate. Turn on to the A1 north (junction 47) and take the next junction 48 on to the A6055 to Minskip. Turn right after Minskip onto the Staveley road and the sign-posted car park is on the right just before Staveley.



This is a new venue for the group. It is an impressive wetland reserve situated SE of Ripon.
Packed lunches to be carried, but the reserve is well laid out with good paths and hides.
Summer migrants, ducks and butterflies. A lovely day out!

Location: Meet in the Low Moor Car Park SE 754470.
Turn off the A1079 at Hewsom and Robinsons Garage, Barmby Moor along Sutton Lane.
First left turn and car park is mile on the right.



Allerthorpe in the morning and in the afternoon a walk along Pocklington Canal from Melbourne.

Woodland birds, butterflies, dragonflies and nice heathland flowers.
