Latest trip report | Monday, 21 January 2019 Trip Report, Shellness - 5th January 2019 The Isle of Sheppey has to be one of the most uninviting places to visit in January; the weather tends to be bitterly cold and the terrain vast and exposed with very few places to shelter from the elements. However, it also happens to be a prime location and the prime time to see short-eared owls and hen harriers.
