September and October News

Alistair Gould kicks off our new season of talks on 4 September as he introduces us to the Golden Age of the Dinosaurs. Our first coach trip (Sunday 20 September) takes us to Cley NWT, which should be packed with migrant birds (hopefully including rarities), in addition to reserve regulars such as bittern and bearded tit. On 2 October Paul Hale will visit The Settlement to talk about the birds of Southern Japan and The Bonin, whilst on 25 October we return to the Norfolk coast as we visit Holkham and Wells by coach, a visit that regularly produces over 90 species of bird.

We will be having a supermarket collection at the new Morrisons in Shefford on 12 September and we will have a stall at the Get Involved North Hertfordshire Volunteers Fair in Letchworth on 10 and 11 October. If you are able to help in any way at these events please get in touch!
