BBC Autumnwatch coming to Leighton Moss

We are delighted to announce that Leighton Moss is to be the home of this year's series! It will go live every night at 8 pm from Tuesday 29 October until Friday 1 November.

The series will showcase the stunning Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Leighton Moss will be right at the heart of this season's action. So what can you look forward to?

Hopefully, our flock of up to 100,000 starlings making incredible patterns and shapes as they pick their spot to spend the night as the sun sets. Not to be missed is our marvellous male red deer going head to head for the right to mate with the females, bellowing across the reserve at one another and locking antlers in battle. October is the best month to see our bearded tits on the grit trays too - all the best of the season will be on show.

Chris Packham, Martin Hughes-Games and Michaela Strachan will be back to bring you all the action from the reserve and beyond!
