Swift Evening at Leighton Moss April 11th 7.30pm

Swift evening - Passionate about swifts?

Come to our special Free event and find out more about swifts and how you can help us to help them.

Swifts are one of the iconic birds of the summer, flying thousands of miles each year visiting us for a brief time to breed. Their numbers are declining for reasons not fully understood, but changes to their traditional nest building locations are likely to be a major factor.
If you are passionate about swifts and would like to be involved in a project to assist in their conservation please join us on -

Ian Walker from Swift Conservation will give a brief talk on swifts and their conservation. This will be followed by a discussion on how to establish a swift conservation project in the Arnside and Silverdale AONB and the surrounding area. For further information, please contact -
