Macclesfield Local Group's 40th Anniversary

Macclesfield Local Group's 40th Anniversary

The indoor meeting in October 2019 marked the 40th anniversary of our Local Group. During the meeting the activities of the group were highlighted, the most significant of which is that the group has donated over £230,000 to the RSPB over these 40 years. What an achievement. The group has also been involved in wildlife surveys, nestbox projects, RSPB campaigns, species protection and attended many external events.

During the meeting long standing member John Mortin cut the celebration cake and long service awards were presented by Alasdair McKee from RSPB North Region to Daryll (5 years), Dave (15 years) and Jen (25 years).
