September 2021 Wildlife Sightings

Please report your wildlife sightings seen within approximately a one hour drive of Macclesfield to:

Clear photos will be welcomed.

Please ensure that any Covid 19 guidelines are complied with.

21 Sept - Ring-necked Parakeet (10) gardens at NT Quarry Bank Mill (David Tolliday)

19 Sept - Singing Chiffchaff on Tytherington Golf Course (David Tolliday)

7 Sept - Higher Sutton - 50+ mixed hirundines feeding up in the sunshine then gathering on wires.
Last 3 days numbers of chiffchaff, willow warbler, blackcap and unidentifiable warbler sp moving through.
Woken up two days in a row by chiffchaff singing. (Tina Hanak)

7 Sept - Black-tailed Godwit (7), Dunlin (2), Ringed Plover (2), Little Egret at Rudyard (David Collis)

4 Sept - House Martin (group of 30-40), Raven (4 overflying) Prestbury village centre (Steve McCoskery)

3 Sept - Snipe (3) at Rudyard (David Collis)

3 Sept - Egyptian Geese (8) at Acre Nook, Lapwing Lane (David Collis)
