25 Oct - Redwing at Marton (David Tolliday)

23 Oct - 130+ Pink-footed Geese overflying Prestbury in a westerly direction (Steve McCoskery)

23 Oct - Goosander on River Dean, Albert Road, Bollington (Steve McCoskery)

19 and 20 Oct - Nature Stuff birdwatching session at Danes Moss, 28 species seen including Brambling, Fieldfare, Jay, Kestrel, Long-tailed tit, Redwing, Siskin, Sparrowhawk and Treecreeper. (Tina Hanak)

15 Oct - Goosander (7 female), Goldeneye (male) at Redesmere (David Collis)

14 Oct - Flock of around 65 winter thrushes - mainly Redwing, Higher Sutton (Tina Hanak)

12 and 12 Oct - 27 species including Gadwall, Great Crested Grebe, Little Grebe, Long-tailed Tit, Nuthatch, Ring-necked Parakeet, Wren. Nature Stuff Birdwatching session - Sale Water Park, (Tina Hanak)

12 Oct - Fieldfare (3), Pink-footed Geese (120+ flying NW), Tytherington (David Tolliday)

11 Oct - Ring-necked Parakeets (4), Ashbrook Drive, Prestbury (Steve McCoskery)

10 Oct - Black Redstart (female/juvenile) moving between the mast and the compound at the rear of the Cat and Fiddle. It's been there for at least three days (David Tolliday)

10 Oct - c60 Pink-footed Geese flying west over Tytherington (David Tolliday)

9 Oct - c120 Pink-footed Geese flying over Prestbury (Steve McCoskery)

9 Oct - 100+ Pink-footed Geese heading NW over Macclesfield (John Cutter)

9 Oct - Great White Egret at Rudyard, possibly the same bird that was at Bosley. (David Collis)

7 Oct - Great White Egret, Bosley Reservoir north end (David Collis)

5 and 6 Oct - Nature Stuff Birdwatching session - Buxton Pavilion Gardens and The Serpentine -27 species including Goldcrest (very close views), Great spotted woodpecker, Grey Heron, House Sparrow, Kingfisher, mandarin duck, Nuthatch, Treecreeper, Tufted Duck, Wren.
