Celebrating 50 years of RSPB local groups

Our first RSPB group was set up in early 1969 in Epping Forest. We now have over 140 local groups across the UK, with a membership of more than 200,000. From Orkney to Guernsey and Lowestoft to Fermanagh, in 2018, these groups led nearly 1,405 guided walks and gave 524 talks about our work to 11,093 people in other organisations. They also carried out wildlife surveys, fundraising, visited schools and much, much more. More...
