Cranes breed at RSPB Otmoor

A pair of common cranes have fledged a chick at RSPB Otmoor this summer, a first for the reserve and the first in Oxfordshire for at least 500 years. The success comes after years of careful management at the site aimed at creating the perfect habitat for birds like cranes, curlews and snipe.
