Small Mammal Survey Training Opportunity

Small Mammal Survey Training Opportunity

We have received the following information from Julia Coulson, a Nature Conservation Ranger. She wondered if any of our group would be interested.

Redbridge's Nature Conservation Team are arranging a small mammal survey training session with the Essex Wildlife Trust over at Hainault Forest Country Park.

Spaces are limited but we still have a few left so I wondered if you could publicise it to your group?

It will be held during the morning of Friday 23rd May. It's a free session and there will be opportunities for any attendees to subsequently help us to carry out further surveys at Hainault Forest, Hainault Lodge and Claybury Park.

If anyone is interested, please ask them to contact us to book a place on 020 8559 2316 or email

Many thanks,

A South American Journey

A South American Journey

Richard Pople this time took us to the continent that boasts the greatest diversity among its birdlife. The colourful tanagers, mannikins and amazing hummingbirds are among the groups of birds not found at all in Europe.
