Roding Valley Park

Roding Valley Park

This site forms a very important green corridor through the west of the Borough of Redbridge and runs along the River Roding. It is a mosaic of rough grassland and tall herbs with areas of amenity grassland and small pockets of woodland and scrub.

The Roding Valley is an important migration route for birds. Excellent views of kingfisher can be seen and little egrets have been known to frequent the Woodford Bridge area of the river.

How to get there:
Roding Valley Park is very close to Redbridge Underground Station on the Central Line. Several bus routes also pass nearby the site including 66, 123, 129, 145, 179, 275, 366, 549, W12 & W14.
